To borrow, a user supplies the market’s collateral token and borrows the market’s loan token. The position must remain healthy under the market oracle and LLTV. At a high level, a position is healthy while:
Borrowed value grows as interest accrues. Collateral value can also change when the oracle price changes. Either can move a position closer to liquidation.

Repayment and collateral withdrawal

A borrower can repay debt in loan tokens. Repaid debt stops accruing interest. Collateral can be withdrawn only if the remaining position is healthy after the withdrawal. The Rhizome stale-price guard can freeze price-dependent actions when required feeds are stale. Repayment remains available because it does not require a collateral price.
The frontend is a transaction interface, not the source of protocol state. Wallets and integrations should read current state and simulate transactions against Rootstock before submission.
